FOR TED ATTENDEES – HOW YOU CAN HELP THE SACRED HEADWATERS
ONE
Write those who have the power to reverse ill-conceived initiatives and chart a better way forward. E-mails are readily deleted, so send an old-fashioned letter, reflecting on what you have learned of this issue. A well placed Op-Ed is always helpful, too. Or place a phone call to express your concern. Start with Victoria, but don’t forget Ottawa. Phone numbers, emails, and addresses for important people are below.
TWO
Come north and experience the land for yourself. Tell others of what you saw, and what you know. Ask FIVE friends to join you in this effort.
THREE
Donate Money. If you would like to contribute money to the effort to save the Sacred Headwaters, please send an email to Wade Davis and Trevor Frost at daviswade@aol.com and trevorfrost@comcast.net

ANCIENT VOICES, MODERN WORLD: AMAZON
National Geographic ventures into the rain forest with Wade Davis for an up-close look at the Barasana river people, a group believed to be descendents of the legendary “lost” Amazonians. Davis embarks on a symbolic journey that will honor the group’s ancestors and witnesses the rituals that demonstrate respect for this tropical landscape.
